I'm lucky
Once again a lot of people is going to lose their jobs at J.F.K Airport. The economy is bad and some companies cannot survive. I'm lucky, because I have seniority. I spoke to my manager yesterday and he told me that I was safe. So this week United Airlines is moving to another building. It will be hard for me because we have less people working over there and I will have more work to do. Two weeks ago I worked by myselft without any help .Now I realize why. I spoke to a co-worker three days ago,and he told me. You know Regi six months ago I bought a house at Queens village. It's been three months since I got married , and now I'm unemployed. What am I going to do? It was very sad to hear that and I felt down. I should be in the same situation too.

You must have been under a lot of stress, Reginald. We're living during very insecure times. I know a number of people who've just lost their jobs. I'm glad your job is safe. I hope it remains that way.
